Biography:
Going with the fact that right now there are many other Sens working in Bollywood, Rimi has got herself a new name i.e Rimii as she thinks that the addition of a single alphabet may help her stand out from the crowd and stay apart from others. Rimii always aspired to become an actress. With this aspiration in mind, she moved to Mumbai from Kolkata where she even performed in the dance troupe of the eminent Kolkata-based Odissi exponent, Aloka Kanungo and was also an Odissi dancer. During an audition for Coca-Cola advertisement she was noticed by director Priyadarshan and Rimii bagged a role in Hungama which became her debut movie and was a massive success. After Hungama she was seen in other hit films like Baghban where she played Amitabh Bachchan's and Hema Malini's granddaughter, Yashraj’s Dhoom in 2004, Phir Hera Pheri and Golmaal. Lately, she appeared in the critically acclaimed Johnny Gaddaar along with newcomer actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.
