Biography: Raima Sen is the daughter of Moon Moon Sen and grand-daughter of the legendary Suchitra Sen. Riya Sen is her sister. Her father, Bharat Dev Varma is a member of the royal family of Tripura. She has always done sensitive roles and excelled in them. All her performances, no matter big or small, have been appreciated in movies like Honeymoon Travels, Daman, Chokher Bali, Eklavya, Parineeta and the Bong Connection. In Eklavya, she played a mentally disturbed princess who communicates through her paintings with finesse. Her acting prowess has been compared to her grandmother; Suchitra Sen.
